Parking Perfection 3

Following in the footsteps of Parking Perfection and its sequel Parking Perfection 2, Parking Perfection 3 comes with very little changes. But if you enjoyed the first two, you will enjoy solving these maddeningly frustrating, should be easy to do, levels.

Use the arrow keys to maneuver your car around the streets and parking lots for your drivers test. Keep in mind, you hit something or run off the road, you fail the exam.

Wone

Wone is a simple arcade puzzle game. Pilot your tire around the track in an attempt to get all the barrels. And if you're good, get all the stars as well. You'll need to get all the stars to move on to level 6.

The controls are simple, use the left and right arrows to control your tire. Hint: You can zoom in and out with the camera by using the up and down arrows. If you pick up enough speed, your tire will fly off the ramps so you can reach all those barrels up above. Those stars can be a real pain to capture, though. Braking is very easy as the tire carries almost no momentum, so don't worry about that.

Personally, I found level three to be the hardest.

Bubbles

Bubbles is a simple arcade game I saw over at jayisgames. While it's a simple game to play, it can become very addicting, very quickly. You have been warned.

Move your character left and right and hit the space bar to fire your harpoon. Your job is to pop the bubbles before they get you. Any bubble that hits the line trailing out of your harpoon will pop. You only get one life to live, so be careful. Powerups sometimes drop out of popped bubbles, so keep your eyes open.

Hint: Smaller bubbles don't bounce up over your head, so you won't be able to hit them directly. Instead, you'll need to get close and fire your harpoon (the harpoon only fires straight up). Move out of the way and let the bubble bounce into the line.

My best strategy is to try and keep all the bubble on one side. If you manage to do so, you can keep from getting trapped.

Warp Forest

Warp Forest is very similar to games like Orbox B for a reason. They are puzzle games designed by the same person (according to jayisgames).

This puzzle game is similar to other 'find the key to unlock the warp point', but it does have some fun twists. Drive around in your car with the arrow keys. Straighten yourself out vertically, horizontally, or diagonally by hitting the d key. Shoot the odd shaped keys to get missiles capable of hurting the monsters that get in your way.

Hints: Some doors will need to be unlocked, others will close behind you and will need to be unlocked again. Some monsters need to be removed, but others do not. Plan out your next step, but don't worry too much as you can always restart a level. Shields (bubbles?) will cause any shots at you to bounce back to their target, but don't assume these reflections will kill the monster off. Some monster require several hits to be destroyed.

I enjoyed the music for a while, but eventually had to turn it off.

Ninja Rinseout

Ninja Rinseout lets you play as a ninja (duh!). Try to sneak up on your opponents and take them out before they spot you. If they spot you, things are going to get hairy for you real fast.

Use the arrow keys to move around, jump and duck. Hit s to attack. Your objective is to save the girl, but you don't just want to finish the game. You want to do it as well as you possibly can. The game keeps track of the number of times you get spotted and how many kills you have.

Each time you die, you start right back on the same level so you get to try again, which is nice. There's nothing more frustrating than getting up to level five, dying, and having to start over from the beginning.

Drakojan Skies Acolytes

Drakojan Skies Acolytes is a side scrolling fighter game with incredible graphics and a fun story line. If you've played any side scrolling fighter games, then you know you want more from the next one and this one seems to provide.

You were sent out to destroy the drakojan, but have rebeled against your own military. Now, you have joined up with the drakojan to fight back against their oppressors. Fly through each of the missions to learn a little bit more about why you were sent out to hurt these 'innocent beings.'

Use the arrow keys to fly around. Hold down the v to fire your main weapon. Hold down the x button for your secondary weapon (lob a grenade forward and down). Upgrade your weaponry, shields, and specialty weaponry (c) to do some real damage. Upgrades are flown in or you can find them in crates.

Chronon

From the makers of grow cube, grow ornament, hatch, etc... comes Chronon. This is another click and explore game.

As with Grow and hatch, you want to click on items in a certain order. Your job is free the little yellow guy trapped in the cage from the big monster who walks off stage at the beginning of the day. Move back and forth across time (chronon... get it?) by clicking on the times up above and then manipulate the objects before the big guy gets back.

If you're looking for a walkthrough, help, hints, etc... you can look for it in the comments. When I figure it out this game, I'll leave a walkthrough there.

Territory War

Territroy War pits is a strategy game pitting stick figures in all out war. Each stick figure soldier takes his turn to move and then fire at the enemy. Learn the best ways to attack with grenades, guns, or even your boot.

Headshots do the most damage, but are hard to do. Grenades can do damage to several opponents at the same time, but can rebound back into your face (always fun to see your opponent hit himself, though!). Use your boot to kick the other guy off into the water/empty space.

There are 11 matches you can work your way through in the campaign. I had some issues with the computer AI. It just isn't smart enough to compete successfully against a human opponent. They will often shoot their rifle into the ground.

Footballer's Wives

Footballer's Wives is a sim game where you're in charge of keeping the footballer's and their wives happy. And it isn't easy. These players are talented on the field, but it's not what they want. They want money, fame, power, love, etc... and it's up to you to make sure they get it. Otherwise their game playing is going to suffer.

Keep the players and their wives happy by sending them to various spots throughout town. Keep in mind that these places aren't free, either. It takes rep to get that movie deal, which gives you money which you can use to buy dinner for all building your rep, etc...

Rapid Fire

Rapid fire is a hit the target and move on to the next level game. The targets will bounce, drop, fly, shake, etc... onto and off of the screen. They will also bounce slightly one way or the other making them that much harder, not to hit, but to hit the bullseye. String together a bunch of bullseyes to really get some points.

Just hitting the targets isn't enough. You need to be able to string together some bullseyes to make some significant progress.

Short Circuit

Short circuit is a mouse dodger game I saw on Fark. Dodge the asterisks as they fall from the top with your mouse pointer (shaped like a lightbulb).

This game is harder than it first looks. The pattern changes, the asterisks change shape, the music makes you tense up, etc...

On each level, the music gives a good indication of what's happening now, but doesn't really help you predict when the next difficult thing is going to occur. I'm having trouble explaining this game in general terms, so here's a specific instance. The music will change and the asterisks will be attracted to you, so make sure you have plenty of space around you at all times.

You can 'deflect' the asterisks (move them away from you) by clicking on the left mouse button, but this 'power' doesn't last very long. You're best served to save this for emergency purposes.

What gets me is when I can barely see the asterisks coming as they start blending into the background. I managed to score 8700 points and I have to admit, I may not go back to try again. Its just too frustrating.

Yoko Ruta

Yoko Ruta is a typical puzzle game. In order to solve each level, you need to get to the key, then get to exit (the lock) on each level.

Grey blocks will disentegrate, barrels are good for walking across spaces, blue blocks will slide until stopped by something. A hint for you: barrels can be pushed halfway out over spaces, allowing you to drop other barrels on top of them. Stay off of the spikes as they will kill you (see the picture). Also, if you block off a warp point with a barrel, you'll be forced into another warp point.

Mr Meaty The Game!

Mr Meaty is based on the cbc show of the same name. Take charge of Josh or Parker in an attempt to defend their jobs and their lives against the hordes of mice and headless chickens. Oh, and don't forget the security guards, the snakes, and the robotic cookers. And that's all before you get to the level bosses.

Use the arrow keys to move, space bar to fire (your ketchup and mustard bottles). Duck down to hit the mice. Multiple hits are needed to take down the security guard.

When you get to the level bosses, keep an eye on your health and theirs in the top left. This is a kids game, so if you're an experienced gamer, you should be able to finish this game fairly quickly.

Dungeon Escape

Dungeon Escape is a flash tribute to Dragon's Lair and Space Ace. Simple rules, but still hard to beat. Every time a spot flashes on the screen, click on it. If you don't click on the right spot, or just don't click fast enough, your hero gets it.

Sometimes its fun to just let your hero get killed, just to see what happens. But its a lot harder to finish the game than you might first think. You have to react quickly. You can learn and memorize each level to get through it, but you only have 3 lives to spare.

Can you escape the dungeon?

Thing Thing 3

Thing Thing 3 lets you play as a bioengineered weapon. A stranger has called you up and asked for your help. But you're under house arrest, so what are you going to do? Shoot your way out, of course.

You get weapon upgrades, plenty of action, and plenty of room to explore. Controls are asdw or arrow keys. Keep in mind, you can double jump by hitting up, get to the top of your arc, then hit up again. Switch weapons (1-6) or go one at a time using e or 0. Pick up all the dropped ammo and use the lower class weapons whenever you can to conserve ammo. You may never run out of ammo for your handgun, but the better weaponry ammo is harder to find.

Base Jumping

Base jumping is a comptetion that takes place between you and 3 other 'jumpers'. Jump from the highest hights at the word go and beat your competitors to the ground. Just make sure to deploy your parachute before you go splat!

Hit the space bar to jump, and then hit it again to deploy your parachute. If you deploy your parachute too soon, the other guys will pass you. Deploy it too late, and you could go splat. After each jump, keep an eye on your health bar (top). If you have enough health left, feel free to push the envelope and deploy later. You'll get hurt, but if you don't hit it too late, you'll beat the guy who managed to jump first.

There are only five leagues to beat before you can compete against the king. And don't worry too much if you aren't winning after the first jump. If you don't come in first after three jumps, you get to compete in the same league again. If you do too poorly, you'll be pushed down a league. The only way you will have to start over is if you go splat, so be careful.

Wings 1915

Wings 1915 puts you in the cockpit for a real side scrolling dogfight. Take aim and fire at the red baron (all one million of 'em). This is one of those games that can go on forever, but can be fun to play at least once.

Control your plane with the mouse, fire your machine gun with the left mouse button. You can run out of ammo and fuel, so be careful. Pick up ammunition, fuel, wrenches (repair) and extra lives whenever you get the chance. The most annoying thing (and the only way I died when I played) was the suicidal planes that would back you up and eventually ram you.

My first time through: 39,930 points.

247 Tanks Multiplayer

247 Tanks Multiplayer is a poorly named, but fun tanks game. Move your tank, adjust your power and angle, choose your ammo, and fire away. Then sit quietly as your opponent fires back. If you're getting close to dying, transport away, but be careful. You may end up sitting right next to your opponent, who gets to fire next!

247 Tanks Multiplayer allows you to challenge other humans in a game you may have played against the computer. I have a few complaints about this game, but almost all my issues are that I want more out of it! I've played this game against others before (never online) and I know what it's capable of. I want more weapons, shields, more power, more complicated landscapes, adjustable gravity, etc...

Stranded

Stranded is what you are. You've crash landed on a planet with hostile aliens all around. Blast your way through all 20 levels in order to escape.

There's not much more to this game. Just keep killing all the aliens as they come at you. Pick up any weapons and special items you can as they get dropped. You will need to upgrade your weaponry to get past the aliens who start coming at you later on.

Control you soldier using aswd and aim and shoot using the mouse. You can outrun most of the aliens (or at least move at the same speed), so make sure to keep moving. But don't get surrounded, as you'll go down quickly.

There are three games in one. Play the story line to build your way up, arcade version to keep 'em coming and rail to just play with the best weapon in the game.

ATV Madness

ATV Madness is a nice racing game for ATV's. Take a ride on a nice graphical package, and try to beat your computer controlled opponent to the finish line. But that shouldn't be all you try to do. Perform some aerial tricks for the crowd and get bonus points for each successful trick.

For each level you beat, you can pick a new driver, get a new course, and you can try a new trick. The graphics are nice, although the engine noises started to sound like a bee buzzing around my ears, they're pretty good too.

I've heard of branding a game to your site, but it got a little bit ridiculous with this game. Everywhere you looked was the 'rcade' button. But overall, it doesn't really detract from the gameplay.

Final Fortress

Final Fortress lets you save the city from the invading hordes. Sounds familiar, right? That's right, it's another 'defend your castle' clone, but set in the modern age. Which means you get a really big cannon to shoot at the bad guys.

Take aim and fire with the mouse. Build up some automatic defenses. Don't forget to build a SAM site for any airborne attackers (helicopters, bombers, and fighters) and build some cannons to defend against any sea attacks.

There are only two levels in this teaser from Miniclip (the full version, which you can buy has 30 levels), but those two levels are a lot of fun. Keep in mind, it takes money to make repairs, so don't spend all your money in between rounds. Also, once you move onto a new level, all those shiny auto weapons are left behind, so conserve yourself on the last phase (5 phases for each level).

Also, you can save in between levels, so if you need to walk away in the middle of the fight, you can start back up where you left off.

Bike Mania 2

Bike Mania 2 is similar to games such as BMX Backflips . You have a limited amount of time to get through the obstacle course by riding your bike over the objects. Just don't tip over and land on your head, or else it's game over. Takes a little bit of strategy not to overcompensate, but you'll get the idea after the first bump in the road.

Use the arrow keys to control the rider, up to move forward, down to move back, left to lean back, and right to lean forward. Hint: If you just try to race over the obstacles without leaning one way or the other, you'll bounce head over heals.

Overall, I'd rate this game higher than BMX Backflips. It has better backgrounds, and better controls. The sound effects aren't bad, but aren't great either. And it's challenging to play.

But perhaps you haven't played in a while and are just dying to hear the peasants go 'Yes?', or hear the clink, clink, clink of your footman hitting something? Because that's about all you're going to get out of this online clone.

It was fun to stroll down memory lane and play this one level implementation of warcraft. Tips: Build a farm and the barrack first. Then get an archer. If you don't, the orcs will be down to take away your lumber, leaving you without enough to finish the game.

Ant Colonies

Ant Colonies is a scrolling puzzle adventure game. It sort of reminds me of lemmings. You have tools to accomplish your objective (save the colony, of course). Your job is to choose which tool to use. Your tools are limited, so choose wisely.

It takes three shots with the mallet to destroy a rock, but only one bomb. You can jump over some obstacles (and bad guys), but if you stand too close to an exploding bomb, you'll be toasted.

Use the arrow keys to move (up to jump). Select which tool you want to use on the left with the mouse. There is a timer, so decide quickly and move on. Also, pay attention to the level code in the bottom left. If you die suddenly, you won't want to start all over
